2. Wine Cooler / Wine Cellar

A built in wine cooler can be an excellent addition to a home bar, especially for those who have more than a few bottles of wine on hand at a time. Ranging in size from smaller-than-a-mini-fridge to the size of a full refrigerator, wine coolers are great for keeping wine in a climate controlled environment to mature and at the ideal serving temperature. Larger models can hold upwards of 200 bottles in a motion-dampened, UV-proof, climate controlled space, and are an excellent alternative to full sized wine cellars. Smaller models do the same job for a dozen bottles or fewer, which is good for a more casual wine drinker. For someone with a medium sized, mixed selection, something like the Dual Zone wine cooler from Marvel that houses white and red wines in separate temperatures would be a good choice.

3. Kegerator

Entirely self contained, kegerators are essentially mini fridges (many of them can actually be converted back into fridges as needed) with a tap on top, room inside for a keg and a canister of CO2, and all the hardware to connect them all built in. Individual kegerators can have as many as 3 taps, though the more varieties of beer one wants to serve from a single kegerator, the smaller the kegs will need to be. The Dual Tap from Summit can be adjusted up to three taps in a variety of finishes - all modern steel or wood and brass for something with a little more pub style.

4. Beverage Cooler

There are a couple different kinds of beverage coolers the full sized ones like those in a mini mart, and smaller, under-the-counter types like Beverage Coolers by Summit Apliance, that are much better suited to a residential setting. For bottled beer, soda, mixers, or just spare water bottles, a beverage cooler is a good way to organize bottled or canned drinks and keep them cooled.

5. Ice Maker

This is the one appliance that flirts with frivolity. For those who serve a lot of mixed drinks, or host a lot of parties that last longer than one can keep the ice frozen, installing an ice machine like the Crescent Cube Ice Maker by Marvel into a bars prep area can save a lot of back and forth, and keep one fully stocked in ice all day and night.

6. Mini Fridge

Mini fridge is more versatile than almost any other home bar specific appliance, and when serving a party, chances are one is going to need a little chill cold drinks, cold mixers, chilled fruits for garnish, or even just a cheese or veggie platter or a tub of dip. I recently purchased the VIZIO E601i-A3 60-inch 1080p 120Hz Razor LED Smart FHDTV, an absolutely phenomenal TV with every conceivable feature you could ask for. Wanting to get a smaller TV for a second bedroom, I stumbled upon the TV featured here, the VIZIO E320-A1 32-inch 720p 60Hz LED HDTV TV at a friends house. He had just purchased it from Amazon. Upon checking out the TV; I felt as if it was missing some features that I was looking for. My friend was a little upset, but eventually pleased when I told him that he might want to return it to Amazon and get something else. While the picture and sound are excellent on this model; unless you're only buying a TV for the basics; I'd spend a little extra and get one that has more features than this. On the other hand; if all you need are the basics, look no further, as you won't find a better picture on any other 32" TV. This one comes with only 2 HDMI ports, which in my opinion is too few. I hated having my Kinect sitting in front of my TV, so about a month ago I started looking for supports for it to sit on top. I was surprised to see that there were not many options and none of the ones I found on Amazon had any really good reviews. A lot of the reviews I found said to go buy something for the PS3 and use that. I saw this clip was available for pre-order and figured the price wasn't too bad so I took a shot.

I got it today and was very happy. It matches the color and finish of my Panasonic plasma TV perfectly. It took all of 10 seconds to set it up and attach the Kinect and it's very stable. It adjusts very easily for different thickness televisions so I had no problem getting it to fit my plasma. I wonder how it would fit some of the really thin sets I have been seeing but I don't have one so I can't comment. It would certainly fit a set thicker than the one I have. I shook the TV a little to see if there was a chance I would come home from work...

Wine On Tap is the New Green Trend

Kegs arent just for beer anymore. Wine in a keg is the hottest trend popping up in restaurants across the country.

Long popular in Europe, kegged wine has both environmental and economical advantages over its traditional, bottled relatives. A wine keg takes up far less packaging and storage space than the 26 bottles that hold the equivalent amount of wine. Wine kegs are reusable for more than 20 years, and dont require the bottles, corks, labels, and cases that bottled wine needs to be delivered.

Switching to kegs would mean keeping millions of bottles out of landfills every year. Kegs are also much lighter to transport than the equivalent amount of wine bottles. The reduced weight helps lower transportation carbon emissions. Currently, weight accounts for one third to one half of transportation carbon emissions in the wine industry.

Kegged wine is also more effective in reducing overhead cost. Wine by the glass accounts for 80% of a restaurants wine sales. But since opened bottles only keep fresh for a day or so, a typical restaurant loses 25% of its bottle profit by throwing out half-empty bottles that theyve sold only a glass or two from.

Kegged wine doesnt have this problem. When a keg is tapped, the contents are pressurized with an inert gas that doesnt react with the wine or affect taste. The pressurized wine keg system prevents oxygen from reaching the wine, therefore eliminating the process of oxidation.

In normal glass bottles, oxidation begins the moment the cork is removed and oxygen touches the wine. Allowing the wine to breathe in a glass or while sitting on the table is fine. Over time, an average bottle of red wine will get corked with oxygen filling the open space in the bottle. As a result of oxidation, the open bottle of wine goes bad within a week.

Kegged wine, due to its inert gases and pressurized system, stays fresh for up to a year. Restaurants that serve wine from a keg never have to worry about customers sending it back because the quality has decreased, and therefore enjoy higher sales as well as more satisfied patrons.

The watch didn't work out of the box. I had to put a new battery in and bend the metal piece behind the buttons (had to take the board out). The metal piece was flat, but needs to be bent towards the buttons so it's not making constant contact on both leads of the board. It's not that hard to do. Once I did that, it works great, looks great. Worth it for the money in my opinion.

Haven't had the watch long, and a button fell off the side. Liked the look, but lowering my rating.

	A Display First, you'll need a 3D-ready display--whether it's a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays have more processing power than standard 2D models for displaying 3D images in rapid succession.

I had been researching 3D TVs for over a year before I bought this TV. Plasma had my vote as lack of deep black levels were something that were very noticeable for me on my last two televisions. I had been interested in Panasonic GT25 series for a while but the cost of active shutter glasses and up-keep (battery, wear and tear etc.) was prohibitive (this being a 2nd TV in the bedroom).

The first I had heard about FPR passive glasses based devices was about a year ago. They were said to be the next best thing but being a geek who has been burned before I was initially skeptical that the 3D effect would be very good. I was certain there will be sacrifices in image quality for 2D however I was actually very surprised by the image quality (both 2D and 3D) on this television. The device simply can not be beat in terms of image quality and features at this low price (Similarly capable LG TVs (albeit with 240 Hz and some extra bells and whistles) cost more than twice as...

I got the TV last month and had to adjust many of the automatic picture features and tint to get it to look good. Then every time I shut the TV off, it would not remember the settings. So, I called the company and a Vizio AMERICAN based representative helped me reset the TV and it was all fixed. Since then I discovered that the problem was really my cables. Although, even with my older bad cables I could still adjust it to a decent picture, it now looks really good even with my old DVD player, VCR and composite WII input. However, I would be careful not to buy this one for a small room unless you are going all HD, because it will probably look a little grainy. My room is fairly large and so I have no issues with this, I could just see it being a problem for some if you are too close to it. Although, with HD it looks awesome all around.

I was lucky enough to get this TV on the lightning deal, so the price was phenomenal. Ordered on a Friday and it arrived on Monday, amazing. I did not even 'need' this TV, but I figured if I got it for the lightning deal price I could use it. I am actually using this to replace a 42" non HDTV in a guest bedroom, this fits the bill, it is an appropriate size for a spare bedroom, the 42" was to big. The room feels bigger now.

Overall Impression:

TV came well packed and was very light. My only experience to date with flat screens were older much larger models, these always required at least two people to move, I was able to move this by myself, as well as unpack it by myself with ease.

There is basically zero documentation, but it was not necessary. After hooking up the proper power and input cords I turned it on and was welcomed with a wizard program to walk me through the installation. In my case it was a terrestrial antenna and a Roku (HDMI)...
