Bar patrons around Baton Rouge arent giggling over their beer they are celebrating it at the areas hottest restaurant, Schlittz & Giggles. They are the first restaurant in Louisiana to adopt the latest beer trend Pour your Own Pint. The establishment recently unveiled three mobile Draft Table tables from Ellickson USA, the leading provider of innovative technologies that enhance the commercial performance and social dynamic of bars, restaurants, and other establishments, that allow customers to self-serve their beer.
Known for their loyalty to old school beer (and their 196 TVs), Schilttz & Giggles kicked its customer experience into high gear in a tribute of bringing a new twist to an old tradition. The restaurants three Draft Tables enable customers to pour their own pint of six beloved beer choices: Pabst Blue Ribbon, Bud Light, Abita Amber, Covington Strawberry, Miller Light and Tin Roof. Each table comes equipped with two taps on a rotating tower so customers simply twist the taps toward themselves and pour.
All pints are poured in a highly controlled environment. The Draft Tables are monitored by the ounce and are operated by an i-button that allow staff to permit and limit the amount of beer that can be self-served. With a tap of the button, customers can open the tap and pour what they would like, up to a two beer limit.
