Olympic Build up Boosts ATM Part Sales by 15% for ATM Parts and Service Provider TestLink

(PRWEB) June 01, 2012

A forecasted increase in demand for cash in the UK during the period covering the Olympics and Queens Jubilee will result in a significant rise in ATM transaction volumes.

UK and Czech Republic based ATM Supplier TestLink has already reported an overall 15% increase in ATM parts sales during the last two months as service providers strive to ensure that high levels of ATM availability are maintained for both UK and International guests during this time.

TestLink Managing Director, Greg Hughes, comments that such high levels of cash transactions will inevitably drive more maintenance calls and parts requirements. TestLink has worked closely with its field maintenance customers to ensure there will be sufficient inventory in place at the key Olympic sites to ensure levels of ATM availability are maintained.

TestLink is renowned for providing strategic solutions for the supply of ATM parts.

The Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) service from TestLink allows ATM maintenance organisations to completely outsource their ATM inventory management reducing cost and saving time that can be spent elsewhere in the business. This service eliminates the headache of depreciating stock and costly storage fees, making it an extremely attractive option for many companies.

As the build up to the London Olympics gathers momentum, Testlink is also reporting more than a 50% increase in customer requests for the provision of configured currency cassettes, when measured against the same period last year.

ATM cassettes play a vital role in dispensing cash correctly and TestLink specialises in the sale of both new and refurbished cassettes as well as ATM cassette repair and ATM cassette testers.

The cost of replacing broken cassettes across a fleet of ATMs can be extremely expensive clients can save up to 60% with the ATM cassette repair and refurbishment service from TestLink.

ATM cassettes are repaired and refurbished to as good as new condition in bank approved facilities by specialist engineers. With a five-day turn around time, broken parts are either repaired or replaced and each cassette is cleaned, thoroughly inspected and configured. Consequently, ATM reliability is increased and early life failure is prevented.

As the Queens Jubilee and the Olympics approach the reliability and up-time of UK ATM machines is of upmost importance.

Testlink is the largest independent ATM parts supplier in the world and with over $ 7.5 million worth of Wincor and NCR ATM parts, together with three distinct ATM cassette services, is very well placed to satisfy the ever increasing demand for ATM parts and services during this exciting time.

With over 150 dedicated staff across three sites, TestLink is focused on delivering innovative and industry-defining ATM services for its clients in the areas of ATM Parts Supply, ATM machine Sales, ATM Remanufacture, Asset Management and Laptop Support.
